How we work

Online therapy is individual therapy held over video call. The structure, length and confidentiality of sessions are the same as in person.

I'll send you the link before your appointment. At the session time, all you need is a quiet place where no one can overhear you. You can use a computer, tablet or phone. Headphones help with both sound quality and privacy.

Online sessions may not suit every situation. For example, if you're in an acute crisis or don't have a private place to talk at home, we'll consider in-person sessions or a different kind of support together.

FAQ

Which platform do you use for sessions?

Sessions take place on [Video platform: e.g. Google Meet / Zoom]. If you need to install anything beforehand, I'll mention it in your appointment details.

What happens if the connection drops?

First we try to reconnect. If that doesn't work, we can continue by phone or reschedule the remaining time together.

Are online sessions recorded?

No, sessions are not recorded. To protect confidentiality on both sides, I ask that you don't record them either.
